Outdoor Education — Sunnyhill’s beautiful wooded setting is ideal for school groups, churches or youth groups like the boy/ girl scouts. Come and learn about nature through the study of local flowers and trees or by observing animals native to the area. Challenge yourself at orienteering, animal tracking, climbing, or camp-out set up. Star gazing around a campfire is a must on a clear summer night. Other Sunnyhill activities are available upon request.
Outdoor Challenge — Our 50 ft alpine tower and swing by choice are sure to challenge every campers limits. We are a challenge by choice facility, one step on the tower is as hard as going to the top for some. Our low ropes challenge course is designed to teach teamwork and be a fun challenge for each individual. We also offer cave explorations and hiking expeditions off site at Meremac State Park.
Water Activities — We offer a wide variety of water based activities, such as our lakefront where campers can paddleboat, canoe, fish or relax in the pavilion. The swimming pool is 60,000 gallons of fun, where campers can cool off in the afternoon, play some water basketball, further develop their swimming skills or just relax by the side of the pool. We also offer off site float trips down the Meremac River, ranging from 2-5 mile floats.
Creative Arts — Campers are encouraged to express themselves through various arts and crafts projects, creating images and collages using materials found in the camp environment.
Sports Activities — Sunnyhill offers a wide variety of sports such as baseball, kickball, volleyball, soccer, softball, basketball and archery.
Mini Camps are a weekend version of summer camp and are available during the year. The programs and activities coincide with the season in which they are offered.
